Peralassery Temple

Peralassery Temple, located around 14 kilometers from Kannur, is a renowned pilgrimage site. The main deity worshipped here is Lord Subrahmanya, the son of Lord Shiva. The idol depicts Lord Subrahmanya in serpent form, and eggs are the primary offerings made to the deity. According to legend, this temple is visited by Lord Rama and Lakshmana during their journey to rescue Sita in the epic Ramayana.
